My very first GIVEAWAY! -- << CLOSED >>

  CLOSED

I was looking around our kitchen tonight after cleaning up from some yummy fried catfish, and have come to the conclusion that our "dine in" kitchen is way too small for a table. So, our next resort would be a pub style table with bar stools, so looks like I'll be on the hunt for a set!

Since I've started really getting into cooking - and believe me, its taken almost our entire six year marriage to get here - I thought it'd be great to do a giveaway! Especially since the great people of CSN contacted me and said I could give away something from one of their 200 online stores! Talk about a challenge, there are so many wonderful things on their sites that I got lost!
But, I finally narrowed it down, and have gone with somoething I really want for myself - but I'm giving away to y'all instead!

I went through the cookware site and decided on the Rachel Ray "bubble and brown" 2-piece Stoneware Baker set! I told y'all it was good!
I love that you're able to go from the oven to your table without having to put whatever you made into another container. And, if you're like me, and don't really want to bake something, but want to display something in a nice  bold container, go ahead and put it in there, it serves as a serving dish as well!
You have the choice between gree,  blue, orange or yellow - personally, I can't get over how "happy" the green looks. *lol*

So how do you get to win this awesome giveaway? Just leave a comment telling me something interesting, personal, whatever - just more than "sign me up" kind of jargin - something good!
I'll leave the giveaway open until next tuesday, March 9th,  then I'll email the winner who will have 48 hours to get back to me, or I'll do random number generator again and get another winner. Sound good? Then hop on down the comment section and enter!

Please make sure you leave me your email address with you comment so I can contact you!

  1. I could really go for some catfish right now. Someone doesn't like it in this house and it isn't very popular here in Cali anyway. You never see Crayfish in the stores either. Bummer.

Let's see, something personal.....I am trying really hard to up my home arts skills as well. Today, I vacuumed. Don't laugh, it is the 4th week in a row that I have done it. Huge change for me and I think that I deserve a medal or at least a gold star!

I am addicted to Stampin' up, but don't have the time to do it. I am also pretty good at graphic design. I LOVE decorating rooms/houses. I never discovered this part of me until I was in college. I also make my own jewelry!! :)

  14. My name is Rebecca, I have five children (hence the mommiesgotfivechildren email address), I have been married for 25 years this May. I homeschool my three youngest children.
My oldest son has a girl that he adores and will soon make her his bride.
My second son has a girl that he is falling out of one "L" word into another "L" word.
I recently did a review with CSN and received first son and girl a cute little Red Pitcher, fav decorating color Red.
This would be a great win for second son because their fav. decorating colors are orange and lime green and that is what they want their kitchen colors to be.
SO there you go that is why I would love to win this gift.

Oh and by the way.....I love to talk, can you tell?
I am a preacher's wife and sometimes we (preach)talk as much as the preacher does.

    Congrats on your first giveaway.
Come on over sometime and visit my blog.
I have a lot of giveaways posted. NOT MINE, but some that I have entered and you can join me in entering also.

    Have a great week!

  22. I'm currently interning for my counseling masters program, and last night we had one of those "worst case scenarios" with a group we were asked to facilitate. They didn't want leaders, but someone unrelated to the group pulled us in without telling them! At the end of the night one man told us, "Nice meeting you. No offense, but I hope I don't see you again." Cool.

  24. I love this set. And I would totally do green to match my kitchen!!!

Hmm...something personal. I haven't taken my contacts out in at least 4 months. I wear the day & night ones and only buy 6 pairs per year. Well I'm due for another exam but I still have 3 pairs left from last year. Horrible I know but I hate taking them out and putting them back in.

  25. Hmmm...something personal: I have a beautiful 11 year-old daughter, and desperately want another child. Last night I had a nightmare that I started looking for men that look like my husband, so I could have more opportunities to conceive. I finally got pregnant, but had no idea who the daddy was and had to tell my wonderful husband that our child may not be his.

This morning, while I was using my "back massager" before getting out of bed...I had to stop bc my cat was eating the cord. Yes. It plugs in.

  32. OMG, Amy I am SO glad I put my drink down before I ready yours!!

Hmm...I was going to post something else, but now that Amy has my mind going there :). I got a VERY rude awakening to what cold does to guys in a barn in the middle of winter and was mortified that it could look like that for a long time. Don't ask, young and stupid!

  33. Your post made me laugh because it took me about 6 years into our marriage to get into cooking. Or maybe that was to start making things someone actually wanted to eat. Our first meal in our first apartment was porcupines, basically meatloaf balls, that have rice int hem. They were crunchy because I didn't get the rice cooked. Yuck! Thank goodness my cooking skills have improved since then!

This looks like some awesome cookware! Thanks for the great giveaway!
